I ♥ Saturdays

Let me clarify, I love every other Saturday, because that means Bobby has half the day off from work. It is so nice to have one morning where we can sleep in together, and act like a normal married couple. This morning I was blessed a by chorizo and egg breakfast (ladies, marry someone who loves to cook). :) Though I only get him until 2 pm, it is just so much fun to sit and talk, and maybe watch some funny videos on YouTube.

Saturday afternoons he heads to church to practice and then lead worship for the Saturday Night Life service...which means I get the house all to myself for a few hours. It is so fun to be able to surprise him with something when he comes home. Sometimes it's dinner, but lets be real, most of the time it is some random baked good I created. So to no avail, tonight I made two types of Paleo muffins, pumpkin almond chocolate chip, and double chocolate. He likes the pumpkin, I obviously love the chocolate (hint, hint, Bobby if you are reading this.)

I am always pleasantly surprised that something healthy can taste this good! We are not hardcore paleo-ists by any means, but I love being healthy. It is astounding how good we both feel when we eat right, and it has helped my hubby lose weight...he is looking amazing as well!

The Big Day

Since this blog is about becoming Mr & Mrs Frick, we might as well start with the greatest day of our journey so far...our wedding day.

When it happened...April 6th, 2013

Where it happened...Amado/Tubac, AZ

Who was there...our amazing family, friends and loved ones.

Without sounding too cheesy, this day was more than I ever could have asked for. For a year I had been praying with friends and dreaming with Bobby about what I wanted our day to be. Every detail, the message shared, and even who would walk me down the aisle; God and I talked about them constantly. We have such amazing friends who came early, helped decorate, kept the bride calm and the groom out of trouble. Without them, I don't know what we would have done.  To be honest, I have no idea how everything came together, but it did. Perfectly!

I can take no credit for all of the little miracles that occurred on that day, but I am so grateful that I was able to marry my best friend, and that all those whom we love were there to share it with us.
